Element L Design created this annual report catalog for MSGIA’s annual board meeting. Each member of the organization received a copy. Designer Luke Duran says with this catalog he wanted to keep the design simple and clean. Each of the pages had just enough information to get the company’s message across. Duran says an effective way to communicate your message to your audience is to keep your look simple. He says try staying away from cluttered pages with too much information. White space is good, it gives your design a fresh look.
One other tip is to try getting away from your standard sizes and shapes. This catalog is designed to be 11x 8.5 horizontal. Duran says by changing the shape of your design it might standout from all the other catalogs that companies and customers receive.
