Nonprofit Calendar Printing Case Study Calendar Objective: Local Business Owners Take their Shirts of and Raise Money Local Photographer and designer Sharon Taylor of Space Acres Digi-Design says the inspiration for this calendar was to raise as much money as possible to help in the fight against cancer. So why not get local business owners to take their shirts off. The idea wasn’t all hers’ a local hair stylist helped. The fun idea helped generate a buzz about the calendar. For taking off their shirts and posing in front of the camera the business owners got a full page to advertise their company. The Cost of the Calendar: She wished every fundraiser was this easy! Each Business Owner paid $100 dollars for a full-page ad, which paid for the upfront cost of printing the calendars. Sharon Taylor donated her design and photography time. She wished every fundraiser came together this easily! The entire community of Dickson County was behind the making of the calendar and had fun in its creation. Taylor says the calendar was so popular throughout the community that Printing Center USA ended up printing it twice. The calendars were sold throughout the community at local businesses. The 300 “Men In Pink” calendars sold at $20.00 each generating $6,000 dollars in profit for “Relay For Life.” Calendar Specs:
