Standing Out With Catalog Printing
Business Services Catalog Printing Case Study
Intrepid Learning Solutions mailed this unique catalog to businesses with the intention of standing out. Using a different style is a great way to get noticed and read.
Catalog Objective:
Intrepid Learning Solutions hired Graphic Designer Jason Johnson to design a catalog that would help the company bring in new business. Johnson says he wanted to design a catalog that would “standout” on a desk that was full of catalogs. He came up with the idea of this unique mini presentation folder with a catalog inside. The inside catalog was a custom layout designed like a tri-fold brochure.
Intrepid is located in Seattle, WA. So Johnson says he wanted to stick with the green theme of the Northwest. The combination of nature photos with businessmen contrasted each other making the message even more intriguing. Also by using paper that wasn’t glossy or shiny it gave the catalog an earthy feeling.
To match the layout of the catalog Intrepid used this copy:
- We’re not your typical Business consultant
- We’re not your typical training provider
- We’re not your typical systems integrator
- We’re not typical period.
- And we suspect that you’re not either
Results:
Johnson says when creating a catalog think of a unique idea that will separate your company from your competition. Remember, businesses get a lot of mail each day trying to sell them something. It may cost more but it will pay off to think outside the box when putting your ideas together.
