High School Rodeo Association Uses Calendar Printing For Successful Fundraising
Education Calendar Printing Case Study
The Hawaii High School Rodeo Association printed a 15-month calendar to raise money and to honor the students in the program.
The High School Association Objectives
Print a calendar that they’d sell to the community to help raise money. The calendar would showcase the students in the high school rodeo program. They designed a calendar to be 15-month's instead of 12 because there were 15 seniors and the association wanted to give each student their own page. (Star Of The Month)
The calendar had to represent the 15-seniors. So, instead of printing a 12- month calendar they decided to print a 15- month calendar. Each senior had their own page with a description about their future.
To cut cost, a photographer who lived in the community donated the photography.
One of the student’s parents donated the money up front for the calendar printing cost. So, the association didn’t have to look for community sponsors. The parent was reimbursed after the calendar was sold.
Upon recommendation from a past Printing Center USA customer, who said the prices couldn’t be beat for the quality, the Rodeo Association decided to print out of state saving them money.
To incorporate the other students into the calendar, smaller pictures of students bordered the top pages of each month. The bottom pages were simple and clean with a different drug free slogan on each of them. “ Drug Free Is the Way to Be.”
