  The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society boosted attendance at their 26th Annual Seattle Celebrity Waiters event by sending this invitation direct mail piece. Non Profit Invitation 


  Invitation Objective:


The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a non-profit organization that helps people who are diagnosed with Leukemia. Here people can get financial support, and extra help dealing with the disease. The mission of the Organization is to help find a cure for Leukemia and improve the quality of life for the patient and their families.
 
The invitation was sent by direct mail to people who’ve donated money in the past to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  To catch their attention the front said “Meet Me For Lunch” and the middle said “And I’ll Wait on You Hand & Foot.” The special event is known as the  Seattle Celebrity Waiters. The event features local celebrities waiting on the guests thanking them for making a donation to the Leukemia Society. The event also features a live auction that takes place during the luncheon. Organizers say the unique direct mail invitation design brought more people to the event then in past years.
