Fundraising Event Printing for Todd Becker Foundation
Nonprofit fundraising printing case study. Flyers, donation request cards, envelopes, and event program
Promote message and gain awareness to the public
The Todd Becker Foundation (www.toddbecker.org) was created following the tragic death of 18-year-old high school student Todd Becker in the spring of 2005. They have shared their “Where is your life headed?” presentation to high school students and the public across the Midwest, to now over 175 locations.
Print objective:
The organization uses many different printed pieces in their marketing and fundraising efforts and one of the most critical concerns is to be able to maintain colors and quality across all the different pieces. “We have tried to set a HIGH standard for all our media, printing included, and to maintain that high level across the board,” says Keith Becker, the organization’s founder, “and sometimes that is difficult to do when you have projects printed using different paper stocks and even different equipment.”
The most recent event utilized flyers, donation request cards, envelopes, brochure cards and a 12-page event program booklet. Working with the team at Printing Center USA helped to choose the right paper and printing format for each of the different pieces ending with a successful event.
Raise funds for day-to-day operations
The Todd Becker Foundation operates from donations by individuals as well as special events. The group’s message is carried throughout the printed pieces and they do everything they can to make it easy for donors to help out. Printing items such as donation cards along with pre-addressed envelopes helps to make the process easy as well as maintain that standard that they want to continue.
The organization is looking forward to continuing their fundraising efforts with more printing in the future. Be sure to check out their website for more about this group.
