NOTE CARDS HELP TO TURN A DREAM INTO A REALITY AFTER RETIREMENT - ALL IT TAKES IS A CAMERA AND THE BEAUTY OF INDIANA
Photography Note Card Printing Case Study
There is No Slowing Down After Retirement
Betty Edmonds had always been told that she had a “good eye” and should do something with her talent. So, after retiring from the federal government after 32 years, that’s exactly what she did. “I just wanted to share the beauty of Indiana” says Betty. “I have been taking photos for many years.”
Short Run Printing Makes Small Opportunities Easy and Cost Effective
Betty spent quite a bit of time researching just how to put together her dream. She had already attempted to hand make photo cards, but it was too labor intensive and didn’t produce a professional product. After searching the Internet, she found Printing Center USA who provided her with samples, pricing and lots of answers to questions.
Budget played an important part in her decision to produce note cards as she carefully watched her expenses during this beginning phase. “I have never done anything like this,” says Betty, “this is way out there for me!” Being able to order small runs of a few cards at a time helps to develop her line of note cards and build up the opportunity slowly.
More To Come From This Note Card Entrepreneur
Betty’s professionally produced and beautiful note cards are currently being distributed in several places such as Indiana tourism centers, state park gift shops and corporate gift baskets. Recently she put together an arrangement with the Taste of Indiana to include her cards in their gift baskets as well. She says that she has more photos to share and she is just beginning this fun venture. She hopes to get a web site up and going in the near future as well.
