Equality North Carolina, a state group that supports LGBT rights, is using postcard printing to help gain awareness for its cause and to inform residents of legislation that impedes on LGBT individuals, Q Notes reports. To date, the ENC has sent more than 10,000 Equality in Action postcards to lawmakers and North Carolina residents. Additionally, ENC has launched an email marketing campaign to support the Equality in Action Tour, which is stopping at town halls throughout the state to raise funds and educate participants on controversial topics. "Republican-led legislature ... has already brought an anti-LGBT constitutional amendment to the floor of both chambers," notes the source. "ENC also encourages everyone to support the companies who lend their hand to champion equality in the workplace." Postcard printing is an inexpensive medium, which makes it the ideal marketing solution for nonprofit organizations. Hundreds of postcards can be produced for a fraction of the cost of a radio or television commercial.
