Fayetteville Announces New Economic Plans Through Brochures

Fayetteville is trying to attract more business.

Last month, the Fayetteville City Council held its annual March retreat so that key individuals could  discuss plans to restore the city's local economy and streamline the business process. After returning from that meeting, the city has decided to launch a promotional campaign to reach out to nearby business owners.

The goal of the initiative is to convince them to relocate to Fayetteville, North Carolina. The city's promotional campaign is backed by a new brochure printing effort. The brochures contain demographics, incentives and other benefits of doing business in Fayetteville.

"The city will continue to work closely with the Fayette County Development Authority in promoting Fayetteville and Fayette County and bringing appropriate projects and developments to our community," City Manager Joe Morton told the Fayetteville Citizen.

Cities and states often use brochures to draw in more businesses and entrepreneurs to an area. For example, the state of Nebraska recently leveraged brochures to reach out to companies and get them to set up shop in the region. The state touted the benefits of low costs of operation, which is an aspect many entrepreneurs consider with the economy still recovering.
