Massachusetts Town Uses Brochures to Bring in New Business

The brochures hope to boost the local economy.

City officials from Grafton, Massachusetts, have kicked off a new brochure printing initiative that is designed to generate more interest in the region from small business owners, the Daily Grafton reports.

The brochure was created by Grafton's Economic Development Commission and draws attention to the commercial and business advantages of setting up shop in the town. Some of the region's big-name brands, such as Temp-Flex and Washington Mills, are cited as being examples of how business can succeed in Grafton.

"We are proud of the Grafton business community and especially those businesses that helped us publish this new brochure," Elias Hanna, chairman of the ECD, told the source. "We anticipate that the brochure will assist our efforts to tell their collective success stories to potential new businesses."

After electronics giant Panasonic moved its base of operations to New Jersey, the state launched a similar brochure printing campaign in response to the growing number of entrepreneurs inquiring about opening a business in the region.
