Panasonic recently announce that it would be relocating its North American headquarters to Newark, New Jersey. Now, several other companies have shown interest in moving to the city as well, which has prompted to Newark officials to launch a new information campaign, the New Jersey Star-Ledger reports.
To help keep prospective business owners informed of the benefits of operating in the city, Newark officials are releasing a new brochure that details available real estate and financial incentives. The city is also overhauling its website and other digital resources.
"This effort is about building momentum and bolstering Newark's image, and sending the message that Newark is truly open for business," Stefan Pryor, Newark's deputy mayor for economic development, told the source. "It may require a period of years, plural, to attract a significant new tenant but we think the time to start this campaign is now."
While Newark is using brochures to bring in local businesses, many cities use the materials to promote local attractions to tourists. This highlights the versatility of brochure printing, which can be leveraged for a number of different scenarios.
