Fred Losen Line, one of the top cruise companies in the UK, has launched its 2012 and 2013 itinerary in the form of a brochure, detailing when and where the organization will be visiting.
Liverpool Confidential reports the promotional brochure was released at a standalone event in London that was attended by prospective guests. Several changes were made to the company's itinerary, such as the removal of Liverpool as a destination point, which has some consumers up-in-arms.
Nigel Lingard, marketing director of Fred Losen Line, told the source that Liverpool lacked the proper facilities the cruise line needed to make it a regular starting and stopping point. "[The Liverpool area] still hasn't got its act together, so we are pulling out," Lingard commented.
Many cruise companies use promotional brochure printing to tout their upcoming schedules. For example, Royal Caribbean recently launched a brochure after running a contest to choose two previous guests as the cover models for the promotional materials.
