Snap-on Tools, a company that sells auto equipment, recent launched a new promotional calendar designed to show customers what can be accomplished using its products, the Green Bay Press Gazette reports.
Roughly 80,000 calendars were printed by the company. The calendars are mainly being used as promotional pieces and have since sold out to consumers across the globe. Snap-on Tool's calendars showcases auto projects from enthusiasts, such as a 1975 Ford Bronco that was restored by Green Bay resident Joe Wolter.
"The calendar was created as a customer-appreciation piece," Daniel Golla, program manager for the company, told the source. "We wanted to show other Snap-on tool users the unique things people made with the tools."
There are more than 3,500 Snap-on Tools locations throughout the country, all of which benefit from the promotional piece. Even on a smaller scale, however, calendar printing can be useful for generating extra revenue - brands can sell calendars at marked up prices to earn some extra profit.
