Seattle Meowtropolitan, the city\u2019s beloved cat caf\u00e9, did just that with their 2026 Astrology Cat Calendar<\/em>, a whimsical and heartfelt project celebrating their 10-year anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team wanted something fun and unique that reflected their community\u2019s spirit, their love for astrology, and, of course, their feline family. The finished wall calendar captures the caf\u00e9\u2019s playful charm while giving customers a tangible keepsake that celebrates both cats and constellations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Seattle Meowtropolitan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2015, Seattle Meowtropolitan has become a cozy retreat for cat lovers to sip coffee, relax, and connect with adoptable cats from local shelters. Their mission is simple: build community through compassion, one cup (and one cuddle) at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMany of the employees are into astrology, and we regularly joke and try to guess the signs of each cat. The Challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Creating a calendar starring cats sounds easy until the models refuse to cooperate! Rachel shared that photographing the caf\u00e9\u2019s residents was equal parts adorable and chaotic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe shot the photos in the lounge with all the other cats around, and it was chaos to say the least; cats climbing the backdrop, walking in front of the camera, and refusing to sit still for their photos. But with some patience and time, we got what we needed eventually, and it was all definitely worth it.\u201d <\/em>Rachel Duzenski<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The challenge was to capture each cat\u2019s personality while keeping the aesthetic cohesive and professional. The team also wanted the final product to look polished enough for retail, yet still warm and playful which is just like the caf\u00e9 itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
