This type of perfect bind creates a square spine. They provide an attractive looking durable book. They do not lay flat. Perfect bound book printing is great for directories, magazines, manuals, year books or any type of booklet that has many pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/res.cloudinary.com\/printingcenterusa-com\/image\/upload\/v1582565505\/Help-Center\/01-File%20Preparation\/01-PageCount_perfect-bound-image.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/res.cloudinary.com\/printingcenterusa-com\/image\/upload\/v1582487146\/Help-Center\/09-Binding\/09-Perfect_Screen_Shot_2019-07-30_at_8.46.04_AM.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/res.cloudinary.com\/printingcenterusa-com\/image\/upload\/v1600362035\/Help-Center\/01-File%20Preparation\/PageCount_PB.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"number-of-pages-accepted\">Number of Pages Accepted<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The minimum number of pages is 28 pages to 2\u201d thick maximum. 2 page increments are required when ordering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since perfect bound books are glued at the spine, it makes it harder to see or read content near the binding side (see the image below). To help avoid this, we recommend you have a 3\/8\u201d (0.375\u201d) margin on the binding side of all pages, including inside cover pages. Smaller books may need less margin while larger books may need more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/res.cloudinary.com\/printingcenterusa-com\/image\/upload\/v1600363031\/Help-Center\/01-File%20Preparation\/06_Crossover.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, if you are designing a perfect bound book, then your margins should look similar to the graphic below.
