INK COLOR

• Example: 4/0 is full color on the front, no printing on the back.
• Example: 4/1 is full color on the front, black printing only on the back.
• Example: 4/4 is full color on the front, and full color on the back.

Definition: Color printing is also known as 4-color printing, four color printing, full color printing, process printing and CMYK printing. Color involves the separation of all colors into 4 different color values Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK). Black ink refers to printing in grayscale using only black as the single ink color on the paper. When selected, no other colors or color mixes will be present on the project. All color images submitted will be converted to grayscale before printing.

14pt Gloss Cover is .014” thick with a shiny gloss finish. This is great for catching attention and even better for making full color images and photos stand out. It’s .014” thickness also makes it durable.

14pt Uncoated Cover is .014” thick and has the same durability as its gloss counterpart, however its uncoated finish makes it perfect for door hangers that need to be written on.

100# Gloss Cover Cardstock (9pt) has the most cost-effective pricing, but is slightly less thick than 14pt Cover making it easier to bend. Images and photos with look stunning with this cardstock.

Hanger

This is referring to the hanger/hole at the top of the door hanger. This area is used to hang the piece on a door handle (see right).
