How to arrange pages for saddle stitch printing?
With the saddle stitch method, the pages of the booklet are printed on large sheets of paper and then folded in half, which is why you must have a page count that is evenly divisible by 4. We can print saddle stitch orders that are 8 - 92 pages. Click Here to learn more about page count for saddle stitch.
Does saddle stitch lay flat?
Saddle stitch bound books and booklets do lay flat. This makes them a great option for projects such as coloring books, as you don’t need to hold them open the entire time. Depending on how many pages you have in your product, there might be a slight “poof” in the center of the pages, but it will still lay flat.
What is saddle stitch booklet printing?
Saddle stitch booklet printing is when four pages are printed onto one sheet of paper (two on the front, two on the back) and then collated in a way that, when folded and stapled through the midline, the pages appear in sequential order. Click here to learn more.
Can I print crossovers with saddle stitch?
Yes! Saddle stitch binding allows for crossovers to be executed without losing a portion of the image in the binding center, like with perfect bound.
