Bleed

By choosing No Bleed, you are stating that your artwork does not include an extra .25” bleed on each side of your finished product and that you do not want your design to print all the way to the edge.

By choosing Does Bleed, you are stating that your artwork does include an extra .25” of bleed on each side. This is extremely important if you are designing your envelope to have printing all the way to the edge. The extra printing area will wrap around the edge and show up a little on the back. This has a tolerance of 1 1/2” so it’s important that you extend the bleed to the back of the envelope.

Quantity

Choose a quantity between 500 and 25,000. Type in the final count of the finished pieces you want. For example, 1,000 would refer to 1,000 completed envelopes.

Because printing is a manufacturing process, the total finished quantity may vary. We usually ship a few more than you order, but sometimes quantities can vary /- 5%. Standard industry procedure is to consider this range shipment in full.

INK COLOR

• Example: 4/0 is full color on the front, no printing on the back.
• Example: 4/1 is full color on the front, black printing only on the back.
• Example: 4/4 is full color on the front, and full color on the back.

Definition: Color printing is also known as 4-color printing, four color printing, full color printing, process printing and CMYK printing. Color involves the separation of all colors into 4 different color values Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK). Black ink refers to printing in grayscale using only black as the single ink color on the paper. When selected, no other colors or color mixes will be present on the project. All color images submitted will be converted to grayscale before printing.

24# White Wove is the typical stationery weight and is slightly heavier than regular copy paper. 24# is used most for envelopes and is a bit more opaque than everyday copy paper. These envelopes have a standard flap with adhesives that must be moistened to close.

24# Peel & Seal is the typical stationery weight and is slightly heavier than regular copy paper. 24# is used most for envelopes and is a bit more opaque than everyday copy paper. These envelopes have a peel and stick adhesive closure.

28# White Wove (70#) is the weight of a nice piece of stationary or brochure and is used for larger envelopes They have greater durability and have a standard flap with adhesives that must be moistened to close.

Does Bleed

70# Uncoated Text is a thicker stock than its 60# counterpart, yet still offers the same premium look. Products printed on this paper will often have a high brightness and a high level of opacity.
