PAPER STOCK

9pt Matte Coveris 0.009” thick and is the most cost-effective paper we have available for postcards. The paper is glare-free and less reflective than a gloss stock.

10pt Gloss Coveris 0.0095” thick and has a smooth coated gloss finish. It has a higher reflective ability with the copy on the paper and is excellent for highly colorful images or photos.

12pt Gloss Coveris 0.012” thick and has the same characteristics of its slightly thinner counterpart 10pt Gloss Cover. This stock works great with a UV gloss coating for a truly professional finish.

12pt Matte Coveris 0.012” thick and has lower reflective making it work very well for nature and landscape type photography images as well as high amounts of copy.

12pt C1S (Coated One Side)is 0.012” thick, this paper will be coated on the front side of your postcard so you can have beautiful images and photos on the front and a rougher back; perfect for writing.

14pt Gloss Cover is .014” thick with a shiny gloss finish. This stock is very durable. It is great for catching attention and even better for making full color images and photos catch the eye.

INK COLOR

• Example: 4/0 is full color on the front, no printing on the back.
• Example: 4/1 is full color on the front, black printing only on the back.
• Example: 4/4 is full color on the front, and full color on the back.

Definition: Color printing is also known as 4-color printing, four color printing, full color printing, process printing and CMYK printing. Color involves the separation of all colors into 4 different color values Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK). Black ink refers to printing in grayscale using only black as the single ink color on the paper. When selected, no other colors or color mixes will be present on the project. All color images submitted will be converted to grayscale before printing.

Finish

UV Coating

UV is short for ultra violet coating. This adds an amazingly smooth polished gloss finish applied over printed cover weight paper to make photos and colors stand out, grabbing attention. It also protects your postcard from scratches and fingerprints. This coating can be applied to just the front or to the front and back.

NOTE: UV coating is not recommended when you need to write on the coated area.
