Spiral Bound Book Printing Resources

Product Information

Our spiral book printing features a durable plastic coil that enhances usability and accommodates more pages, with a maximum thickness of 1-1/2. But that's not all. It's also customizable by paper stock, size, and finish. The sturdy plastic coil runs through drill holes in the cover and pages, ensuring the pages fully rotate and lay flat. This versatility makes it perfect for various booklets, from directories and calendars to annual reports and cookbooks.

Great deal, great quality, what more do you need!

I use Printing Penter USA for all my printing. I not a business, but I do make 10 family calendasr every year for me, and 20 for a friend, plus I do reunion memory books and sometimes trip books. Their prices are great, even better if you get a deal. I saved $120 total this year on three print jobs. No criticisms here!!

While the set up was a tad cumbersome on our end, that we could work it all without assistance from the vendor added significant value.

This is our 3rd year using your services for our conference. Love the new updated loading features. Always loved the ability to proof and approve right away. The ebook was useful as well. Should offer a version without your imprint however. The booklets arrived on time and looked as expected. Thanks for taking the multiple calls up till shipment. Can't wait till next year!

FAQs

What is Spiral Bound Printing?

Spiral-bound printing uses a continuous coil of plastic looping through a row of punched holes at the edge of the printed piece. Depending on how the project is designed, the binding can be on the left or top edge of the project. Spiral-bound coils are available in different colors and sizes.

How should I count my pages for spiral binding?

We can print spiral and wire-o orders with 8 - 800 pages, which must be in 2-page increments.

What should my margins be for spiral binding?

You must leave extra space for the hole drilling on the binding side of your Spiral or Wire-O booklet. Set your binding-side margins to 7/8"

What are the most common uses for spiral bound?

Spiral-bound book printing is great for manuals, directories, annual reports, calendars, and many other types of products. Spiral binding can be up to 2 3⁄4" "thick.

When will I receive my spiral-bound book?

After proof approval, you will receive your spiral-bound book in 3 to 4 business days. You can request rush production and shipping to receive your book earlier.

What is the best paper weight for spiral binding?

Spiral bindings pair well with thick paper, stock, and larger paper counts, as the coils' density and bending allow the paper to flip quickly.

What projects are best for spiral-bound book printing?

Workbooks, manuals, handbooks, directories, and educational presentations are perfect for spiral binding.
