finish. Excellent for making full color printing appear more vibrant.

number order, one on top of the other, and gathered into a book block. The spine edge is ground off. The
softcover (a thicker cardstock) is placed over and around the book block (interior pages) and attached by the

Spiral Binding is more durable than wire-o binding but does not have the professional
look
of a wire-o bound book. A spiral bound book uses a durable plastic coil which makes it
an
ideal option for spiral book binding that needs to lie flat and can fold or wrap back
around
themselves (360 degree) and are continually being referred to. The plastic coil allows
for frequent use
that not damage the book binding coil. Spiral bound book printing is great for
instruction and repair manuals,
cookbooks, directories, handbooks, guides, and other reference materials. Spiral binding
is excellent for wall
calendars and planners can hang flat against the wall.

Wire-O binding is for a more formal use and offers a more professional look than a
spiral bound book.
A wire-o bound book uses a metal wire. Unlike a perfect bound or saddle-stitched book,
the open wire-o bound book
will lie flat (180 degrees) for easy reference or they can fold or wrap back around
themselves (360 degree) making it
easier to handle and lays flat for easy reading while taking up minimal room on a desk
or table.
Wire-o binding is an excellent style of binding commonly used for businesses to create
professional-looking lay
flat documents such as business reports, documents, calendars and other book types.
Wire-o binding calendars
are one of our most popular products. The pages flip easily and hang flat against the
wall. Wall calendars are
great for non-profit fundraising programs, promoting business and photography.

Saddle Stitch FAQ’s
How to arrange pages for saddle stitch printing?
With the saddle stitch method, the pages of the booklet are printed on large sheets of paper and then folded in half,
which is why you must have a page count that is evenly divisible by 4. We can print saddle stitch orders that are 8 - 92 pages.
Click Here to learn more about page count for saddle stitch.
Does saddle stitch lay flat?
Saddle stitch bound books and booklets do lay flat.
This makes them a great option for projects such as coloring books,
as you don’t need to hold them open the entire time.
Depending on how many pages you have in your product, there might be a slight “poof” in the center of the pages, but it will still lay flat.
What is saddle stitch booklet printing?
Saddle stitch booklet printing is when four pages are printed onto one sheet of paper (two on the front, two on the back)
and then collated in a way that, when folded and stapled through the midline, the pages appear in sequential order.

Can I print crossovers with saddle stitch?
Yes! Saddle stitch binding allows for crossovers to be
executed without losing a portion of the image in the binding center, like with perfect bound.
