Keeping History Alive with a Century’s Worth of Print

About the Cat Fanciers’ Federation (CFF)
Founded over a century ago, the Cat Fanciers’ Federation (CFF) is one of the oldest feline registries in the United States. Proudly standing for Cats, Family, and Friends, the organization honors the bond between people and their beloved cats through competitive shows, community events, and annual recognitions.
Each year, CFF publishes a yearbook highlighting the season’s highest-scoring cats. From Best Kitten and Best Cat to Best Alter and Best Household Pet, the winners represent the best of the best which are the felines who embody grace, beauty, and spirit.
About the Creator
This year’s yearbook was designed by Melissa Towler, a longtime CFF member and designer who has created several of the organization’s publications. Melissa’s work reflects both her dedication to the CFF community and her appreciation for the artistry behind every show cat.
“This booklet is a yearbook celebrating last year’s highest scoring cats from Cat Fanciers’ Federation cat shows,” Melissa explains. “It’s a great honor to achieve Best Kitten, Best Cat, Best Alter, and Best Household Pet. The Federation had its 100-year anniversary in 2019, and I created a much larger special yearbook for that event as well.”
Despite her modesty, Melissa’s attention to detail and commitment to quality shine through. Each page captures not only the cats themselves but also the camaraderie and joy that make the CFF community feel like family.
