About Kristen Breeden
Kristen’s journey began as a teenager, scrapbooking countless photos of nature from her home, local parks, and family trips. After receiving her first professional camera as a high school graduation gift, she discovered her true passion for photography.
Combining her background in early childhood education with her love for wildlife, Kristen began creating photo books that teach through visuals. “One of my goals was to teach through fun and photos,” she explains. That creative vision evolved into two children’s-style booklets—Birds of the Rainbow and Birds of the Alphabet—each filled with vibrant imagery and educational charm.
“I’ve had a lot of adults tell me they didn’t know the names of most of the birds either,” Kristen laughs.

The Challenge
Kristen wanted to share her work beyond scrapbooks and personal collections, creating printed pieces she could gift and share widely. However, she found that other printing sites were too expensive and often delivered inconsistent color quality.
