PrintingCenterUSA Volunteers Support Toby’s House Butterfly & Grasshopper Ball at The Newberry in Great Falls
On May 17, six PrintingCenterUSA employees volunteered at the Butterfly & Grasshopper Ball hosted at The Newberry in Great Falls, Montana, helping support Toby’s House Crisis Nursery and the families they serve throughout the community.
The family-focused fundraiser brought together children, parents, volunteers, and community members for an afternoon filled with music, dancing, costumes, activities, and connection. Before the event officially began, the PrintingCenterUSA team arrived early to help prepare the venue by setting up tables, chairs, decorations, and activity spaces alongside organizers and fellow volunteers.
From the moment families began arriving, the atmosphere inside The Newberry felt warm, welcoming, and full of excitement. Children dressed as princesses, superheroes, and storybook characters filled the venue with energy while volunteers worked behind the scenes to help make the afternoon special for everyone attending.

Why It Matters
Events like the Butterfly & Grasshopper Ball are about more than a single afternoon together. They help create safe, joyful spaces where families can connect, children can simply have fun, and organizations like Toby’s House can continue supporting the community in meaningful ways.
What Happened or What the Event Included
Before guests arrived at The Newberry, PrintingCenterUSA volunteers spent the afternoon helping transform the venue for the event.

Employees worked together setting up tables and chairs, arranging decorations, and preparing activity spaces throughout the venue. The setup process itself quickly became a team effort filled with laughter, conversation, and collaboration as volunteers jumped in wherever help was needed.
As families began arriving, the event space came to life. Kids walked through the doors dressed in costumes, excited for the afternoon ahead, while music, activities, face painting, dancing, snacks, and photo opportunities helped create a fun and welcoming environment for everyone attending.
One of the most memorable parts of the day was simply seeing the community come together. Parents, children, volunteers, organizers, and local supporters all shared the same space with a common goal of supporting local families and creating positive memories together.
The event also gave PrintingCenterUSA employees a chance to connect outside of work while supporting a cause close to home.
Impact and Community Outcome
Six PrintingCenterUSA employees volunteered their time to help support the Butterfly & Grasshopper Ball benefiting Toby’s House Crisis Nursery at The Newberry in Great Falls.
While much of the work happened before the event officially started, those efforts helped create an inviting and welcoming environment where local families and children could enjoy a special afternoon together.
Seeing children arrive excited in costume while volunteers and organizers worked together behind the scenes made the impact of the event feel especially meaningful. It was a reminder that even small acts of service can help create experiences families will remember long after the event ends.
The event reflected the strength of the Great Falls community and the importance of local organizations, volunteers, and businesses continuing to support one another.
